Text Box: Ashley FairField, Director Ashley Fairfield is a director with a background in stunt acting and a passion for telling stories of an original and intimate nature. His successes have reflected this focus. Most recently, Ashley’s spec-television commercial Anywhere, Everywhere was accepted for review by Adidas. Ashley has been apart of the team on many major Hollywood films such as Superman Returns, Stealth; The Matrix Reloaded; The Quiet American; Scooby Doo; Moulin Rouge and many more. Ashley has teamed up with Mark Hennessy writer of The Tip and is pleased to have Azure Productions on board to produce and looks forward to producing quality work with them well into the future. Mark Hennessy, Writer Mark has worked extensively in film, TV and theatre as an actor, writer, director and physical performer for many years. His work in Film and Television has included lead and guest roles in, Blue Heelers, Phoenix – ABC (AFI Winner), Police Rescue, Metal Skin and The Big Steal. His theatre performances include Cyrano De Bergerac for SYDNEY THEATRE CO. at the Wharf, Macbeth for THE OLD VAN at Theatreworks, The Conquest of The South Pole at THE STORE ROOM and Blowback for NYID. Mark has been employed at the Victorian College of the Arts as Lecturer in Drama and Movement, he directed The Fabulous Fops for Melbourne Festival and in 2004 he worked as assistant director to Rob Meldrum for the University of Ballarat 3rd year production of Julius Caesar. He has written numerous short films and performance pieces and in 2002 he received a $5000 grant from the Australian Film Commission, under the New Screenwriters Scheme, for his 50-minute mini-feature The Field of Honour. Most recently he has received a $5000 grant from Arts Victoria for Creative Development of his new solo performance, The Death and Resurrection Show, to be premiered in 2005. In addition, Mark has written a short film ‘The Tip’ to be directed by Ashley Fairfield and Produced by Azure Productions. Annmaree J Bell, Producer Annmaree an accomplished and motivated project manager with broad industry experience started her career in film production in 2003 after studying the Certificate in Screen at Metro Screen. In 2004 Annmaree produced writer/director Michael Chrisoulaski’s three spec-commercials, assisted on Craig Boreham’s film Transient, production managed Jennifer Kent’s film Monster and worked with Metro Screen Indigenous Certificate II students on their location dramas. Annmaree also produced and executively produced her first short film; The Chess Set, a privately funded venture directed by Alex Murawski in 2004. In 2005, Annmaree produced a short comedy/drama Elemenopee with writer/director Natalia Amoore which was screened in the Best of the Rest for TROPFEST 2005. Annmaree has also produced ’untouched’ by writer/director Megan Riakos and the MetroScreen/FTO Funded film ’Closing Stages’ by writer/director Alina Gozin’a. Annmaree is also working on two short films with John Frank; the other half of Azure Productions; The Sound of Shadows writer/director Julietta Boscolo and Hollow Hills writer/director Kim Ramsay, both scheduled to be shot in 2006. Annmaree has also produced several commercials. In addition, Annmaree has two feature films screenplays in development ‘The Man with a pink tie’ writer, Darren Keating and ‘Spooks’ writers Darren Keating and Megan Riakos. Annmaree lives in Sydney with her partner John. Ben Jasper, Cinematographer As Cinematographer Ben has shot numerous short films, music videos, television commercials and corporate videos. Many of the films he has shot have made it in short film festivals; including The Shocker and Pasta. Ben has worked with artists such as Belinda Chapple; Greenland and Universe on music videos. Ben has worked as camera operator on television commercials, television drama programs and films including Somersault and Farscape. Ben has received support from Kodak, ATLAB and Panavision, for stock, processing and camera equipment rentals. Ben is familiar with most formats and genres however his true passion lies with photographing drama. Azure Productions Azure Productions is a young production company established in 2004. Located in beautiful Sydney Australia, Azure Productions is founded on the principals of Create, Inspire, Achieve. Azure Productions is a service company offering production management, project management and IT services to film & television companies and corporate. Azure Productions creates projects that are designed to inspire and entertain and has a built a team that prides itself on being a collaboration of filmmakers working towards their goals in unison.
