Yure Covich as DARRYL

Yure is a graduate of the NIDA. He has appeared in films such as Wyrmwood , Red Dog, The Black Balloon, Around The Block and Feed, and various short film projects including Truth Is. For the theatre Yure has performed for the Sydney Theatre Company in Children Of The Sun, Fury and The White Guard. Other theatre credits include Return To Earth, Out In The Open, Carol Churchill’s Cloud Nine, The Illusion by Tony Kushner, Motortown at the Griffin theatre, At That Moment Everything Changed at the Old Fitroy Theatre, Woyzech for Belvoir St. Theatre. Amongst his television credits are ABC’s Old School, Paper Giants - The Birth Of Cleo, Panic At Rock Island, Home And Away, Comedy Inc and All Saints. He has starred in numerous commercials in Australia, Europe and China.

Lewis Defina as SIMON

Lewis has been in drama and acting classes since he was 5 years old and continues to absolutely love it. He has been cast in TV commercials, several short films (including Ari with Azure Productions), local stage productions,  but the stand out was being cast in the TV mini-series, Devil's Playground directed by Rachel Ward. Lewis has continued his acting studies through TAFTA and his school drama department at SACS Sydney. Apart from his love of acting, Lewis plays euphonium and enjoys the riskier type of outdoors in skiing and of late, parkour.

Maya has been acting in film, television and theatre since she was 16. Recent TV appearances include LOVE CHILD, REDFERN NOW, RAKE, BURN NOTICE and the tele-movies THE GREAT MINT SWINDLE and WICKED LOVE. She has appeared in the feature films GALORE, DROWN, xx/xy, GARAGE DAYS, and A SAVAGE LAND and her short film credits include I'M THE ONE, JACK'S PROMISE, BANANA BOY and TOUCH. 

Samuel made his screen debut in the lead role of the short film ‘Stand Up and Fight’ directed by Adrian Muscat for Metro Screen.  He has also appeared regularly in commercials and promotional videos for Nickelodeon.  A talented singer and musician, Samuel plays cello and has performed in the children's chorus for Opera Australia in both "Carmen" and "Tosca".  Samuel attends acting classes with Acting Lab at Brent Street and is passionate about working in film.   He is thrilled to be working with Azure Productions on ‘Stye’.

Nathaniel Dean as TACCO

Nathaniel’s first film role after graduating from NIDA was in Tony Ayres’s WALKING ON WATER for which he received the AFI for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He was again nominated for an AFI for his role in Cate Shortland’s SOMERSAULT. His other film credits include roles in CANDY, THE RAGE IN PLACID RAKE, and THE FINAL WINTER.

His television credits include leading roles in BIKIE WARS, WILD BOYS, ANZAC GIRLS, PUBERTY BLUES, and ABC tele-movie PARER’S WAR.

In 2013 Nathaniel played the lead role of William Thornhill in Neil Armfield’s critically acclaimed Sydney Theatre Company production of THE SECRET RIVER for which he received a Helpmann Award nomination for Best Actor; and the Black Swan Theatre Company’s A STEEETCAR NAMED DESIRE where he played the iconic role of Stanley opposite Sigrid Thornton as Blanche.

Jack made his screen debut in 2014 with a lead role in the Sydney Film School short film 'Brittle Bones'. After this he went on to appear in the Azure Productions short film 'Ari' and the feature film 'Teenage Kicks'.

Jack has also performed in various school drama productions.  Aside from acting Jack loves BMX riding and can be found outside  learning new tricks in his spare time.  Jack is really looking forward to working with Azure Productions  on this project and performing the role of Gavin.
